ACRO Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México

ACRO Automation Systems, Inc. announced today that it will be opening a new manufacturing facility in Apodaca, a suburb of Monterrey, in the State of Nuevo León, Mexico.

ACRO Automation Systems, a 70 year old designer and builder of automatic assembly and welding machinery for the automotive, appliance, plastics and consumer products industries, plans to open the facility on July 1, 2006.

The new wholly owned subsidiary, ACRO Automatización de México S. de R.L. de C.V., was formed in order to allow the company to be closer to their ever increasing customer base throughout Mexico. The facility will offer approximately 10,000 square feet (930 m2) of manufacturing space and 2,500 square feet (230 m2) of office space. Staffing will consist of mechanical and electrical assembly technicians, sales and field service technicians.

This facility will provide the complete mechanical and electrical assembly of automated assembly and welding machines and tooling destined for ACRO’s Mexican customers. System function testing, installation, operator and maintenance training as well as field service will also be conducted out of this location with local staff.

ACRO Automation Systems is a full service integrator offering complete single-source responsibility for the design, manufacture, test, installation, training and service support of automated assembly and welding machines and systems. Their machines are specially engineered and manufactured to customer specifications under rigid quality control procedures.
